The National Testing Agency has been mandated by the Ministry of Education and UGC to conduct a Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission into all Postgraduate Programmes in all Central Universities, other participating Universities / Institutions / Organizations / Autonomous Colleges since 2022.
The CUET (PG) provides a single window opportunity to students seeking admission in any of the Central Universities (CUs) or other participating organizations (including State Universities, Deemed and Private Universities) across the Country.
For the Academic Session 2025-26, CUET (PG) – 2025 will be conducted in the ComputerBased Test (CBT) as per the details given below:

The list of participating universities is dynamic. Candidates are advised to regularly visit NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in, https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ for the latest updates regarding the examination and participating universities.
The medium of the Question Paper for CUET (PG) - 2025 will be English and Hindi (Bilingual) except for languages, M. Tech/Higher Sciences, and Acharya papers (except Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System).
A total of 157 subjects are being offered in the CUET (PG) – 2026.
The CUET (PG) – 2026 is being offered in 292 cities including 16 cities outside India.
